The Suburbia News has been published continuously since 1972. The Suburbia News was purchased by Pugh Media, L.L.C. in December 2006 from former owner, Neal Wooley. The Suburbia News serves the cities of Balch Springs, Combine, Crandall and Seagoville and serves as the newspaper of record for Balch Springs, Combine and Seagoville. The newspaper is now designed and laid out in Adobe InDesign, the industry standard and is printed by The Terrell Tribune in Terrell, Texas. The Suburbia News is published on Thursdays. We have a commitment to produce your ad accurately and promptly. We can only accomplish this if we have enough time to give your ad the consideration it deserves. Publication day is Thursday. Deadlines for articles, ads needing proofs and for insert reservations are each Monday at 12 p.m., Friday at 4 p.m. for full page ads, Monday noon for 1/2 page ads and smaller. Deadlines may be altered for holidays, special issues, or natural disasters. Any erroneous reflection upon the character, standing or reputation of any person, firm or corporation which may appear in The Suburbia News will be corrected when brought to the attention of the publisher. We reserve the right to adjust in full an error by publishing a corrected insertion. The Suburbia News welcomes letters to the editor on any subject. We ask that the letters adhere to the following guidelines: They must include the name, address and telephone number of the author. Only the author’s name and city of residence will be published with the letter. Any material considered libelous or in poor taste, or letters of appreciation directed at commercial concerns, at the discretion of the editor, will not be published. Letters should not be longer than 300 words and should if possible, be typed. We reserve the right to edit letters if they are too long or if they contain statements we consider unnecessarily offensive or obscene. Letters to the editor may be submitted
